West Virginians have used roots and herbs as medicine for centuries, so passage of a medical marijuana bill actually perpetuates the state’s heritage.

Now that HB 4498 for Compassionate Use of Medical Marijuana has been introduced in the West Virginia State Legislature, next step towards passage would be a public hearing in the Health and Human Resources Committee, whose members’ email addresses and phone numbers are posted below.
